Errata Review

At Southern Reporting, we offer comprehensive errata review services, demonstrating how every notation made by the witness aligns with the original audio. Our team carefully examines each errata sheet, utilizing an easy-to-read key that clearly indicates whether it was a reporter error, correctly transcribed, or requires further explanation, with detailed clarifications attached as needed. 

Once the review is complete, we promptly notify all parties with the detailed errata sheet outlining the notations and their impact.  This eliminates any uncertainty, clearly indicating when the errata was received from the witness and whether there was a transcription error, correct transcription, or an addition to the testimony.  Our commitment to accuracy and efficiency ensures that every notation is fully documented and communicated.

Audio Transcription

Do you need audio from a cell phone, video file, or hearing transcribed?  Email us the audio file, and let our efficient transcription team handle the rest.

Videoconferencing

Take the travel and hassle out of your next proceeding.   When you book a videoconference proceeding with us, we’ll handle the scheduling and link distribution, the start of the videoconference, and any troubleshooting assistance that an attorney, witness, or you may have before and/or during a proceeding. 

Errata Review

We review all completed errata sheets and associated audio.  All ordering parties are notified regarding changes made by the witness and the nature of the change.  Read-and-signs are available electronically or as a printed hard copy.

Whether it’s a deposition, hearing, or meeting, we’ve got you covered.  Our court reporters and videographers are available any day of the week, weekend, or holiday.  Simply let us know what you need.

Free Travel for Depositions and EUOs

Southern court reporters travel free of charge to any location within South Carolina as well as some parts of North Carolina and Georgia.

Conference Room

Our conference room is available hourly or daily and seats eight comfortably.  Enjoy complimentary services such as photocopying, wifi, VC support, freshly baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, coffee, and soft drinks.  Conference room rental fees are waived for Southern Reporting clients.

With our team of tech-friendly staff, we can handle your technology troubleshooting needs.  Email or call us, and we’ll appear online or in-person to assist you.

Legal Videography

Our well-trained videographers generate high-quality videos and are familiar with the provisions of the rules pertaining to videotaped proceedings.  We provide an MP4 or synchronized video that works on a Mac or PC. 

Your Preferences

Tell us your standing order, and we’ll keep a record of it.  If you want a particular format or want your order sent a certain way, we’ll cater to you.

Transcripts

We have a solid scheduling and production system to ensure the timely delivery of your transcripts. Our standard turnaround time is 10 business days. However, if you need your transcript sooner, let us know. Our PDF transcripts include electronic condensed and word indices, and all our PDF files, including exhibits, are OCR text searchable.

24-Hour Access
